They will help close the books each month with a detailed Audit Report on completed, failed and in-process transactions as well as values.
Will Banks also collect bills?
Yes, your bills published on Bill Cloud are visible to the counters at Bank Branches.
Consumers can walk in to any Branch of an empanelled Bank and pay their Bills. This allows all Bank Counters to function as your collection counters making it convenient for your Consumers. Banks can also take under their ambit all Biller's Collection Counters as well as those of collection agencies like ItzCash, NeGP CSCs and your CFCs. Bills on Bill Cloud are available to collection counters across India and their Collections are visible on Bill Cloud on a Real-time basis. These counters can be remotely monitored and controlled by the Biller and their transactions can be brought under the ambit of a Nodal Bank to ensure that full reconciliation of all Collections is done at the end of each day.

Often transactions may be delayed or may fail owing to various issues that may arise either Online (dropped internet connection etc.) or Offline (dishonoured cheque etc.). Consumers need to know what the status is of their transaction and often need to talk to a person.
